Spot the Difference
The two pictures look the same, but five things have changed. Can you find them all?
Tap a difference in either picture. Wrong taps and hints count as misses.
How to play
Look closely at the two pictures. In the second one, five small things are different: a color may have changed, something may be missing, or a detail may have been added. Tap the spot in either picture. A red circle marks every difference you find. If you are stuck, the Hint button shows one for a moment, but it counts as a miss.
A new picture every day
Today’s picture is the same for everyone on the same day, so you can compare times with friends and family. When you want more, press New picture for a fresh scene as often as you like.
How to spot differences faster
- Go section by section. Compare the sky first, then the houses and trees, then the flowers at the bottom.
- Count things. Count the clouds, windows or flowers in each picture. A different number points straight to a difference.
- Check colors one at a time. Pick one color, such as red, and find every red thing in both pictures.
- Switch your eyes quickly. Looking back and forth between the same spot in each picture makes changes “jump out”.
Why we love this puzzle
Spot-the-difference puzzles have appeared in newspapers and children’s magazines for generations. They train careful observation and patience, and they are a gentle game to share: one person can point while another looks.
